So, Would You Get Extra Marks?
There are no written rules, at least not available in the public domain as to what NTA would do in this regard. The NTA says in its information brochure that all challenges against JEE Main 2019 answer key are looked into, and results shall only be as per final answer key.
In April 2015, a reputed English daily published an article on Wrong Question Answers in JEE Mains. It says that in that year CBSE awarded bonus marks for wrong question/answers. It should be noted that CBSE, and not NTA, conducted the JEE earlier.
As per it, if a question was wrong, or no option was correct, then all students received bonus marks of +4. If a question had more than one correct answer, and if the candidate had answered any one of those, then that candidate would have got full marks.
It is expected that the NTA would take a similar approach.
