Other than the above list, there are colleges for Non Collegiate Women Education and School of Open Learning for students who want to pursue a course but do not wish to take admission in regular college. The classes are held on Saturdays and Sundays for these students.

However, there are so many colleges with different cutoffs and one can definitely apply for colleges and get admission. Also there are quotas for SC, ST, OBC and for sports students (ECA). There is quota for migrants also (Kashmir migrants).

Every college has its own policies regarding the quotas. Students who fulfill the requirements of quota can apply for admission for the desired course. Some colleges provide concession of 1 or 2% in the total marks percentage to girls. Again it depends on the college and may vary.

Do not get disappointed if you do not get admission in a college, there are many other colleges that have their doors open. Not only DU, there are other universities as well which provide various courses like IP university, Symbiosis, Amity and many more.
