The reason is simple as the smaller the luggage the easier for you to travel. As heavier things take a lot of your energy to carry them around and you fail to enjoy the view or ambiance around you.
3. Clothes as per situation
Taking clothes as per the places where you visit is the best way to protect yourself from your side. As for example: if you go to a desert place take light-colored clothes; if you are going to a humid place best option is cotton clothes: rainy place, without a doubt an umbrella and now decide where to go and what clothes to wear.

10. Side bags
These are the bags that will be up close to you and by your side always, small valuables in there will be perfect like keys should be in there. Best way to keep something valuable out there as its easy to access.
