People tend to underestimate the power of movies and think of them as hindrances but these movies are sometimes a source of support, inspiration, and strength. Movies are not just the actors that portray the characters, movies are a way of picturing words to action and when we see movies, we become one with them. Sometimes cheerful movies bring us out the pit while sometimes it’s those films that let us bawl to make us feel lighter and once in a while the movies about extraordinary accomplishments by ordinary people become our pillars of hope and strength. Mrs. Doubtfire is the brainchild of Daniel Hillard a freelance voice actor and for the sake of being with his children after divorce, he becomes Mrs. Doubtfire, a nanny. Despite being unreliable and unorganized, he tries his best to keep the job for the sake of seeing his children grow. Along with being a nanny, Daniel has to make sure he scores brownie points from his job so that the court can give him mutual custody of children. This film focuses on the antics and the struggles of Daniel for the sake of his love for the children.

Nanny McPhee

Cedric Brown after the death of his beloved wife becomes a single father of seven children and them along with a cook and scullery maid live in an idyllic mansion. Though Cedric loves his children he seems clumsy and struggles to handle the children.

He hires multiple nannies and each of them quite unable to bear the children’s antics and then one day a mysterious lady appears who claims to be a Government nanny. So the children under the watchful eye of Nanny McPhee slowly mend their ways and try to become more responsible.

A princess doesn’t need a prince to rescue her- She is more than capable of rescuing herself. These lines are apt for the animated film Brave. Merida, being a princess doesn’t like the customs and traditions that are prerequisite for a princess to follow.

She lives her life according to her free spirit with her bow and arrow thus garnering the wrath of her mother. To set things straight the Queen and King decide to marry her off to the person who wins the target shoot and defying her mother’s wishes she fights for her own hand and wins and runs away into to forest wherein she  encounters a witch who in accordance with Merida’s wish gives a spell concocted cake to change her mother.

After consuming the cake, her mother becomes a bear and to change her mother back Merida has only two days left. These two days help the mother and child bond and also help in rediscovering their love and care for each other.

Along with the gods – The two worlds

Kim Ja-Hong is a fireman and has worked diligently throughout. At a young age, he had a fallout with his hearing-impaired mother and younger brother, so he runs away and works hard and becomes a fireman and while rescuing people he dies. The head grim reaper along with his two associates escorts Ja-Hong to the afterlife. The Grim Reaper is ordained to defend Ja-Hong and has to represent him for the 7 trails in a period of 49 days to find out where his soul will spend the eternity. This movie has brilliant graphics and the cinematography is very beautiful. The story in itself is well written and executed. The second part will be released in August 2018.

Bad Genius

Bad Genius is a Thai film that surrounds Lynn, a brilliant student. After joining a new school, she befriends Grace who seems kind but is not very sharp when it comes to academics. Lynn helps her friend cheat in an exam. Lynn is then approached by Grace’s boyfriend who asks her to help him cheat the exam and promises to pay a hefty amount.

At first, she refuses and when she learns that the school has charged her father some extra money other than the scholarship fee she agrees to it. A couple of kids join her and she creates hand signals based on certain piano compositions. When this plan succeeds, the kids decide to cheat on STIC’s and also bring in other scholar kid who reluctantly joins them.
