The State Bank of India (SBI) would release the SBI Clerk exam 2020 notification. SBI Clerk Recruitment invites applicants for the clerical posts. Every Year, SBI conducts the SBI Clerk exam to recruit suitable candidates for the clerical post. The exam is scheduled to be conducted in two stages i.e. the preliminary exam and the mains exam. SBI Clerk Syllabus – The Subjects

There are 5 subjects in the SBI Clerk Syllabus. They are:

  • English
  • Quantitative Aptitude or Quant
  • Reasoning Ability
  • Computer Skills
  • General Knowledge

Out of these 5, 3 are considered more important than the other two. This is because of the fact that these 3 subjects are included in SBI Clerk Pre Syllabus and Mains syllabus. These three subjects are  – English, Quant and Reasoning. The syllabus of these subjects is the same for SBI clerk mains syllabus and prelims syllabus.

Detailed SBI Clerk Syllabus

The main syllabus for the SBI Clerk Pre and SBI Clerk Mains (that is English, Reasoning and Quantitative Ability) is same. However, for in SBI Clerk mains, general knowledge and Computer science are added. Detailed SBI Clerk Exam Pattern

Let us take a look at the exam pattern for SBI Clerk in detail. SBI Clerk Exam has 2 main rounds, name as Pre-Exam and Main Exam. These both exams are different in form of the pattern but the syllabus of the subjects remains the same. We have provided the details in the give sections.

SBI Clerk Exam Pattern

Preliminary Exam

It also called the screening exam. Applicants who qualify this exam will pass this exam will appear in Mains Exam. This exam consists of 30 questions of English language, 35 questions of each Numerical ability and Reasoning. The exam is of 100 marks and one hour is given to complete these question

You would be surprised to know that there are no minimum marks required to qualify for mains. The bank chooses all the top scoring applicants in a ratio of 1:10. That is  10 times the no. of seat available, let us now look at the marking scheme of Mains exam.

Mains Exam

After clearing the Pre exam, a merit is prepared and called all the qualified applicants for the Main exam. The Main Exam consists of 190 questions in it of 200 marks to be solved in 2 hours 40 mins.
