NMAT 2018 is just around the corner. Important Dates for NMAT
The important dates with regard to the NMAT exam 2018 as released on the official website. The NMAT is conducted by GMAC and unlike other exams, the NMAT is conducted over a period of time. The time period is almost two months and the candidates have the option to select dates and time slots from the given options. There is no specific date set for the admit card. The admit card will be generated only after the candidate has completed the application procedure and has submitted the required fees. The results would be announced in the second week of January.

NMAT Eligibility Criteria
As per the procedure of NMAT registration, the following eligibility criteria are to be satisfied by the candidates to be eligible for appearing for the entrance exam.
- Candidate should have a bachelor’s degree from a recognized institute/college/institute
- The candidate must secure 50% or above in the bachelor’s degree in all the years of university education
- Candidates in the final year of their graduation are also eligible to appear for this exam, and
- Also, the eligibility criteria for B-schools accepting NMAT exam score varies from institute to institute.
Therefore the candidates are advised to ensure that they meet the eligibility criteria set by the B- schools they desire to enter. For this candidates must visit the official website of all the colleges accepting the NMAT exam score.
NMAT Admit Card/Call Letter
The admit card for admissions 2019-21 are going to be held in December 2018 is expected to be distributed online soon after the completion of the registration process. Candidates are advised to visit the official website of NMAT and click the admit card button to download their admit card. Then, they are required to enter the User ID and Password allotted to them at the time of registration.
The link to download the admit card will be open during the exam period, i.e. October 4 – December 2018, provided the candidate has successfully registered himself/herself for the exam. After the successful registration and fee payment, the NMAT admit card would be generated within 24 hours.

- Download admit card and take a print out
- Save a soft copy for future purposes.
NMAT Exam Pattern
The exam pattern is fairly simple as there are no negative markings for any incorrect or unattempted question. The total number of marks is 360 and the duration is 120 minutes. Entrance Exam is divided into three sections, with the mostly of objective type of questions.

NMAT Results
The ongoing NMAT 2018 exam is scheduled to be over by 17 December 2018 as a large number of candidates would opt to reschedule and retake the test during this period of over 2 months. The results of the online examination will be accessible through the official website after not more than 5 weeks, i.e. during January 2019. Like every year, candidates would be required to authenticate using their ID, password to access their scorecards in which the scores in each of the sections viz. Quantitative skills, Language skills, and Logical Reasoning skills will be displayed. The scores in each section will be scaled so as to quantify the relative performances of candidates with respect to a common reference level. This procedure of normalization would call for better judgment of a large number of candidates.
NMAT Cut Off
The NMAT cut off was between 208-210 last year for NMIMS. It is expected to lie in the same range this time as well. Sectional cutoff that can be expected for 2018 are:
- Logical reasoning – 50
- Language skills – 55
- Quantitative techniques – 60
