NMAT by GMAC 2018 results will be made available online during January 2019 in the form of scorecards. The prestigious management entrance has begun since 4 October 2018 and will continue to be held until 17 December 2017. The exam allows candidates to apply for postgraduate courses in the field of management offered by several private institutions such as NMIMS, VIT, ICFAI to name a few. Detailed Information on NMAT Results

The ongoing NMAT 2017 exam is scheduled to be over by 17 December 2018 as a large number of candidates would opt to reschedule and retake the test during this period of over 2 months. The results of the online examination will be accessible through the official website after not more than 5 weeks, i.e. during January 2019. Like every year, candidates would be required to authenticate using their ID, password to access their scorecards in which the scores in each of the sections viz. Quantitative skills, Language skills, and Logical Reasoning skills will be displayed. The scores in each section will be scaled so as to quantify the relative performances of candidates with respect to a common reference level. This procedure of normalization would call for better judgment of a large number of candidates.

To make things easier, the result or the scorecard will be electronically sent to the candidates via e-mail. Candidates are advised to keep a check on their scorecard by visiting the universities they have applied at. Following up with the institutions will facilitate the respective administration offices to approve your details thereby speeding up the admission process.

How to check NMAT Results

  1. Visit the official website
  2. Login with the email ID and password, which was generated at the time of registration.
  3. Enter your date of birth in DD/MM/YYYY format.
  4. The last step is to enter the security code and then click on- Get Your NMAT Results tab to check the shortlist status.

NMAT Score vs Percentile

The NMAT percentile reflects how the test taker performed in the examination in comparison to all the other candidates which appeared for the exam. Whereas, the NMAT score reflects the marks score from the total of 360 in the test.

Each college now set their own cutoffs for admission into various courses offered by them. One of the ways to get a seat in top B-schools is NMAT which may prove to be relatively easier than other entrances if you aim for a good result. Competition is getting tougher, so it is advised to improve your NMAT result as much as you can during the exam delivery period.
