The National Testing Agency (NTA) will declare the NEET result on June 5, 2019. The results will be available on the official portal in the form of a scorecard and candidate has to log in. The minimum NEET cut off marks to qualify the NEET 2019 will be 50% (General category) & 40% (Reserved Category).
The scorecard for NEET 2019 will contain candidates’ All India Rank (quota & category), aggregate & sectional marks, and percentile. The counseling procedure will start after the result declaration. The score of NEET 2019 will be applicable for admission to the medical, dental and allied courses of the country (excluding AIIMS and JIPMER). How to check NEET result?
Candidates should go through the procedure given below for checking and downloading the NEET Result 2019:
- Visit the official NEET website, click on the NEET Result.
- Enter the Roll Number, Date of Birth, and submit.
- The result will display on the screen.
- Download and print the 2019 NEET result by clicking on the ‘Print’ button.
- The NEET result copy should be saved and kept for future references.

How to Calculate NEET Score and Ranks
The NEET authorities will release the NEET answer keys after NEET 2019 exam. The candidates can calculate their expected scores and ranks by checking their responses against the answer key. The marking scheme will majorly determine the NEET Score and NEET 2019 ranks:
- Every correct answer leads to +4 marks.
- The incorrect response will lead to -1 mark.
- Marking more than one choice will be considered a negative.
- No marks for un-attempted questions.
- Total Marks = 180 (MCQ) X 4 = 720 Marks
How will NEET 2019 Score be Calculated?
NEET Scores will be calculated by following the given formula-
NEET Score=(Total no. of correct answers x 4) – (Total no. of incorrect answers x -1)
Qualifying percentile in NEET Result 2019
- Candidates have to obtain minimum qualifying percentile in NEET 2019 result for qualification and the admission process.
- Candidates in Unreserved (UR) category have to score 50 percentile or more and SC/ ST/ OBC have to obtain marks equivalent to or minimum 40 percentile for AIQ and state counseling process.

NEET Rank Letter:
- The rank letter is the scorecard of NEET 2019 results.
- The rank letter of NEET 2019 will release with the declaration of NEET result 2019
- Candidates appearing for the NEET exam will get NEET rank letter.
- It will carry the All India Quota rank and category rank.
- Medical Counselling Committee (MCC) will conduct counseling on basis of All India quota rank.
What after NEET Result 2019?
- The candidates qualifying NEEt 2019 will have to participate in NEET counseling for the admission process.
- The NEET counseling 2019 will be organized by MCC for 15% All India Quota seats and separate counseling will be held for state seats by the concerned authorities.
- The counseling process will start in the second week of June 2019.
- Candidate belonging to J&K if not participated in AIQ counseling, they will have to register themselves at the state counseling at the state level.
