NEET 2019 Important Dates – Highlights

  1. NEET Application Dates – The neet application form date is 1, November 2018 and the last date is 30, November 2018. The candidate has to fill the NEET application form in the given time. *Updates: According to the latest updates, Hon’bl Supreme Court has directed NTA for extending the NEET application form filling date. NTA will release the official notice regarding the same soon.
  2. The exam dates of NEET 2019 are available for the year 2019 exam. NEET 2019 will be held in a single shift and in a single session probably in offline mode. The date of NEET is May 5, 2019.
  3. The NEET 2019 admit card date has been notified by the NTA. The NEET 2019 admit card issuance is on April 15, 2019.
  4. NTA will be releasing the result of NEET 2019 on June 5, 2019.
  5. Declaration of NEET result will further lead to the counseling process. The NEET counseling will be starting from 13 June 2019.

NEET Eligibility Criteria

Aspirants require to fulfill eligibility criteria for appearing in the NEET 2019 examination. The eligibility requirements are given below:

  • Indian nationals, Overseas Citizen of India, Person of Indian Origin, Non-Resident Indian and foreign candidates will be eligible to apply.
  • The minimum age limit is 17 years on 31 December 2019.
  • The maximum age is 25 years for general and 30 years for SC, ST and OBC candidates on the date of examination. The latest updates about the maximum age limit as directed by Supreme Court is out and it suggested NTA to accept applications of candidates above 25 years of age, the final outcome about it will depend on the CBSE decision.
  • Candidates passed/appearing 12 class or its equivalent exam from recognized board.
  • In the qualifying exam, students should have PCB/biotechnology and English.
  • Candidates should have obtained minimum 50% marks (general), 45% marks (general PH), and 40% marks for SC/ST & OBC candidates in the PCB stream.
