MH CET is a state level examination conducted by the Government of Maharashtra for the admission of engineering and other programmes. The DTE, Maharashtra announces the application for this particular exam for the candidates. The entrance exam will be in the month of May 2019. The entrance exam will be held in 2 papers- Paper I for Mathematics and Paper II for Physics and Chemistry. The entrance exam will be conducted offline only according to the MH CET notification.
Candidates enrolling for MHCET 2019 exam need to study the whole syllabus of class 12th and 11th. The Application form for the candidates will be available online made in the second week of February. After the application process, the admit card will be released in the fourth week of April. Candidates can download their admit cards from the official website. Candidates will be able to appear for MHCET Engineering Entrance exam and after the result is declared, merit list will be released. After that, counselling process for MHCET Entrance exam kicks in and seat allotment for engineering aspirants begins. After the seat allotment, candidates need to go to college to submit the documents and required fees. At the end, aspirant will get admission in their preferred college as per the final list.

Over 4 lakh aspirants appear for MHCET Engineering exam and is conducted by DTE, Maharashtra every year. They release the notification in the month of November for the engineering entrance exam and counselling process starts after the result in the month of July. Mode of the examination is Offline and MHCET is a State level exam where MH CET full form is Maharashtra Common Entrance Test.

New Update in MHT CET Notification 2019
The weightage of Syllabus with 11th and 12th will be like 20% and 80% respectively. The difficulty level of exam will be raised and is almost equal to the JEE Mains, in terms of Mathematics, Physics and Chemistry and NEET for Biology.
The number of questions based on 11th and 12th will be 10 and 40 respectively. The questions will be application based.
MHT CET Eligibility criteria
MH CET Eligibility criteria are according to the different categories, home state or the state outside Maharashtra. Eligibility Criteria conditions are related to age, qualification, category, number of attempts and the marks scored in qualifying exams.
According to the MH CET notification, 2019 candidates of general category must have scored minimum 50% of aggregate marks in 12th standard or the exam equivalent from a recognized board with the subjects Physics, Chemistry, and Mathematics. Whereas for the reserved category candidates need to scored 45 % and above in 12th standard.

Aspirants belonging to a particular linguistic or religious minority community from the Maharashtra State (notified by the government) are considered eligible under this category.
MH CET 2018 Eligibility Criteria for Wards of Defence Personnel
- Children/spouse of defence personnel (resident of Maharashtra).
- Children/spouse serving defence service personnel (transferred to Maharashtra) are also eligibile.
MH CET Application Fee 2019
Application fees for MHCET Engineering Entrance exam is Rs. 800 for General Category people whereas its Rs. 600 for Reserved Category.
Application fees for MHCET have to be paid in CASH through Bank Challan only.

MH CET Exam pattern
The exam pattern of MH CET 2019 is released by DTE, Maharashtra. The MH CET exam pattern includes various aspects to test like marking scheme, number of questions, mode of the test, the total number of questions and marks.
The MHCET Entrance exam will be conducted in offline mode only.
Objective type question (MCQs) will be given in Paper I and Paper II.
As per the latest notification of MH CET 2019, there is no negative marking.

MH CET Exam Centers
The latest notification of MH CET announced that the MH CET exam will conduct in various exam centers in 36 cities and towns of Maharashtra. The number of test centers of MH CET can be up and down as per the authority decision. Candidates are allowed to select their exam centers according to the nearest location via the application form.

MH CET Admit Card 2019 – MH CET Notification
DTE Maharashtra releases the admit card in the last week of April. The Admit Card will be provided to the students through online mode only. As per the notification, the MH CET Admit Card will be granted to those only who have successfully submitted the application form. Candidates have to download their admit card and for downloading they need the application number and the password (entered the time of submitting application form). Admit Card is one of the most important document without MH CET admit card no candidate is allowed to sit in the exam.

MH CET Counseling and Admission Process
The process of MH CET counseling starts from the first week of June 2019. The registration process is mandatory for the candidates as per the notification of MH CET. After qualifying the examination the candidates are further called for the for the counseling process. Counseling process will be held by the authorities, candidates are required to verify all the details and documents in the counseling session.
