AIMA or All India Management Association conducts Management Aptitude Test or MAT. The exam is conducted 4 times a year for admissions into more than 600 B-schools. It is conducted in the months of February, May, September and November. Unlike other exams, the MAT exam is conducted in both, online and offline modes. The application process for MAT commenced on December 2018. Unlike other exams, MAT is conducted in two different modes, online and offline both. On February 17, 2019, MAT will be conducted in the traditional paper-based offline mode, whereas on February 23, 2019, MAT will be conducted in online mode. The MAT exam score is valid for one year. Candidates are informed that AIMA is not responsible for any further admission procedure for any of the participating institutes of MAT.

MAT Eligibility Criteria
- Candidates must be graduate in any of the team from a recognised institute or university.
- Final year graduates are also eligible to apply from any of the streams, like management, science, humanities, commerce and engineering.
- As per MAT exam eligibility, there is no specific age to appear for the exam.
- A candidate can appear for the MAT exam as many times as they wish to. There are no restrictions on the number of attempts for taking the MAT.
- It is not compulsory to have experience for the exam
- A certain number of exam seats are fixed for minority sections of the society.
- Candidates in the final year appearing for MAT exam will need to submit a proof of their graduation. Otherwise, their candidature might be terminated from the institutes.
- All the candidates have to pay the fees. Rs.1550 for either of the modes and Rs.250 for both the exam modes.
- After the successful completion of the fees and application process, the candidates will get the admit card.
- The exam’s duration is two hours and thirty minutes.

How to Apply for MAT Exam

- Enter the details required
- Your login ID and password would be created and a confirmation mail would be sent to you
- The login details will be sent to the candidates’ E-mail ID.
- Now, re-login with the credentials
- Upload the scanned photographs and signature
- Pay the MAT registration fee
- Take a print out of the MAT Online registration form.
MAT Admit Card
The All India Management Association will issues the MAT Admit card for 2019 exams in February 2019. Although, the MAT Admit Card can be released online only. Please note that the MAT admit card will not be sent by post to any of the candidates. To download the MAT Admit Card the candidates need to login on the official website when the admit card is released and log in with their registration number, date of birth (DoB) or email ID to download the MAT admit card. Only those candidates will be issued the admit who have paid the application fees successfully. The MAT Admit Card is a crucial document and the candidates need to carry it to the exam centre. Also even after the exam, the Admit card has to be retained by the candidate as it is a crucial document for the further admission process.

- Then enter registration number, date of birth in DD/MM/YYYY and Email ID.

MAT 2019 Exam Pattern
MAT Exam Pattern is same for both the modes of the exam – online and offline. The MAT entrance exam duration is of 2 hours and 3 minutes, with a total of 200 questions. There are 5 sections of the exam with each section containing 40 questions.

MAT Results
The MAT result will be declared in the form of a scorecard by the official conducting body – All India Management Association. By logging in on the official website using their details, candidates can download the sectional and overall scorecard for MAT. Also, the candidates will receive the result through post after the declaration of MAT result. However, it is advised that candidates check the result online.
