Kalinga Institute of Industrial Technology or more popularly known as KIIT located in Bhubaneswar is one of the most reputed universities in India. The university was established in 1997 by social and educational entrepreneur Dr Achyuta Samanta. KIIT Admission Process

  • Here is the step by step Admission process for KIIT University
  •  First, the candidates have to register for KIITEE.
  • After the registration is complete, KIIT slot booking process will start.
  • KIIT slot booking process will be followed by the release of KIIT Admit card
  • Then the KIITEE exam is conducted on the designated date.
  • After the exam, the results are announced
  • followed by the cut off marks
  • As per the cut off marks, candidates are called for counselling
  • In the counselling process, the candidates have to choose the course available to them as per their rank and other factors.
  • then comes the payment of the fee for seat allotment
  • Finally, the academic session begins

Mode of Admission – KIITEE

The only mode of admission in KIIT University Bhubaneswar is the entrance exam KIITEE. The KITEE is an annual affair conducted by the KIIT University, for admission into various courses offered by the university. The entrance exam is held across the nation in its various designated centres. The entrance exam is fairly simple and comprises of 12- questions and the duration of exam is 180 minutes. There is negative marking in the exam and the candidates are awarded one mark each for a correct answer whereas one mark is deducted for each wrong answer. Every year KIIT opens up its doors with the commencement of application process in the month of November.

As per the self-financing basis, the KIIT  fee structure is different for different courses. This also means that NRI students fees are different than Indian students. Also, the university charges fees at the time of the admission counselling and students also have to pay the per semester registration fees along with the examination fees as per the KIIT fee structure. The placements opportunities at KIIT university are a dream of many. The KIIT placement cell makes sure that all the students are employable and hence are employed. In the year 2017, the recruiters included some of the industry giants such as – Accenture, Royal Enfield, Dell, Bajaj, Barclays, Vipro, Voltas and many more. Also, there is no tolerance towards raging or any other violent or disturbing behaviour which makes the KIIT campus ragging free campus and a safe campus.
