KIITEE is an annual university level exam conducted by Kalinga Institute of Industrial Technology or more commonly known as KIIT. The test mostly consists of the same syllabus as per the class 11 and 12. However, the students are advised to brush up their basics and pull up their socks as the questions are not going to be direct because the exam is purely an objective based paper. The KIIT syllabus for the entrance exam for roughly covers the most of curriculum student have studied in class 10 and 12. However, the paper is based on objective type questions so there is no point assuming that the questions would be direct and one can pass the exam simply by rote learning. KIITEE Syllabus 2019 – Physics

Units and Measurements, Description of Motion in One Dimension, Description of Motion in Two and Three Dimensions, Laws of Motion, Work, Energy and Power, Rotational Motion and Moment of Inertia, Gravitation and numerical, Solids and Fluids, Oscillation, Waves, Heat and Thermodynamics, Transference of Heat, Electrostatics, Current Electricity, Thermal and Chemical Effects of Currents, Magnetic Effects of Currents, Magnetostatics, Electromagnetic Induction and Alternating Currents, Ray Optics, Wave Optics, Electromagnetic Waves, Electron and Photons, Atoms, Molecules and Nuclei and Solids and Semi-Conductors Devices.

KIITEE Syllabus 2019 – Mathematics

Sets, Relations and Functions, Complex Numbers, Matrices and Determinants, Quadratic Equations, Permutations and Combinations, Sequences and Series, Differential Calculus, Integral Calculus, Differential Equations, Two Dimensional Geometry, The straight line and pair of straight lines, Three Dimensional Geometry, Circles and Family of Circles, Conic Sections, Vector Algebra, Measures of Central Tendency and Dispersion, Probability and Trigonometry.

KIITEE Exam Pattern

The exam consists of a total of 120 questions, 40 questions from each of the sections (Maths, Chemistry and Physics). KIITEE 2019 will only be conducted in English language through online medium only. 180 minutes is the duration of the examination and the exam will automatically end when the 180 minutes are up. Also, there is no negative marking in KIITEE, the candidate would be awarded one mark each for a correct answer, whereas, one mark will be deducted for each wrong answer.
