KCET Document Verification Process – KCET 2019 Exam

KCET Document Verification Process

The aim for this KCET document verification process is to ensure the eligibility of the candidate. Only upon the verification of all the required original documents, candidates will get a slip and a secret key/password. KEA will announce all these details on their official website also. Verifications of the documents will be done at once only for all the disciplines. If the candidate is eligible for multiple KCETs, then the documents would be verified all at once only.The candidates who are eligible only in UGNEET 2018 for Medical / Dental (not assigned any rank in CET-2018) have to attend UGNEET-2018 document verification later when the schedule is published for NEET verification.

Documents to be Brought for Verification

These are the documents required for KCET verification.

  • The final print out of the KCET Online Application Form.
  • Original Copy of the Chalan for having paid the application fees.
  • KCET 2019 Admission Hall ticket/ Admit Card
  • SSLC / 10th Standard Marks Card.
  • 2nd PUC / 12th Standard Marks Card.
  • Study Certificate counter signed by the concerned BEO / DDPI.
  • Medical Certificate, for PwD Candidates.
  • Two recent Passport Size Photographs.

Choice Filling and Locking

After the verification and registration, the next step is to fill and lock the choice of colleges and courses.  The admission authority will upload the category wise, course wise and college wise seat matrix. All you have to do is select the preferred colleges and courses as per the eligibility in the order of the preference.

KCET Seat Allotment

In this last step of the counselling process where candidates are allotted seats according to their ranking in the merit list and selection of college and courses during counselling. The number of rounds for the counselling depends upon the number of candidates. Candidates have to download their admission/seat allotment letter by logging in with their credentials. The candidates qualified will have to visit the allotted institutes with all the documents for reporting, along with the printout of the seat allotment letter.
