JEE Advanced Notification has been released by IIT Roorkee. The National level exam is conducted for the selection of the applicants in the engineering course in IIT’s and few other top end colleges. Applicants who qualify in the JEE Mains appear in JEE Advanced, every year around 2,24,000 lakh applicants selected in JEE Advanced Exam. One more important change that has been done this year to JEE Advanced exam is that the exam will be Online. Earlier the Exam use to be in the offline mode, but this year onwards the exam will be online. JEE Advanced Important Dates and Events
Notification for the JEE Advanced Exam was released just a few days back. Along with that notification, few of the important dates related to JEE Advanced were also released. These dates include the date of registration, date of downloading the admit card, date of the exam etc. Please note that few of the dates are not declared by the IIT Roorkee officials. Once the dates are confirmed by the official, we’ll update these dates.
The eligibility criteria for appearing in the JEE Advanced is that candidate must be among the top 2,24,000 in all category. Although they will be selecting slightly more than that due tied score or rank. A detailed article on JEE Advanced Eligibility Criteria is provided in the below link. However, few of the major criteria would be as following:
- The applicant must qualify for the JEE Mains exam (paper-1).
- Applicant must be born or after 1 October 1994.
- Applicant must not have accepted admission in any IIT in past.
- The Applicant should not have appeared in JEE Advanced 2017 or earlier.
Registration/Application form for JEE Advanced
Only JEE Mains 2019 qualified applicants can appear for the JEE Advanced exam. Applicant needs to register again with JEE Mains roll no. and password, go through the process of filling the form/registration and qualify the JEE Advanced Exam to secure a seat in IIT. JEE Advanced Exam Pattern
Applicants preparing for JEE Advanced should have an idea of exam pattern for JEE Advancedsuch that all sections and syllabus should be covered properly.
- JEE Advanced Question paper 2019 is divided into different sections named Physics, Chemistry and Mathematics.
- JEE Advanced has 2 papers. Each paper has three sections. Each section will have questions from different subjects.
- There will be Objective type questions (Multiple choice questions) in JEE Exam 2019.
- The exam will be conducted online at various examination cities across various states of India.
Examination Cities/Centres for JEE Advanced 2019
JEE Advanced 2019 will be conducted in many locations in the country and few on the location outside India. The candidate will choose the preference of the location where he/she would prefer to give the exam. Applicants can choose the location at the time of registration.

Applicants are required to fill the application form and register for JEE Advanced on the basis of JEE Advanced 2019 Eligibility Criteria after paying the application fees.
