All India Entrance Examination for Admission – AIEEA 2019
The All India Entrance Examination for Admission, popular by the acronym AIEEA, is a national-level joint entrance exam organized and conducted annually by the Indian Council of Agricultural Research(ICAR) to determine admissions to the various undergraduate programs in agriculture and related disciplines offered by the institute by assessing the knowledge skills and behavioral skills of the candidates.

The candidate must meet with the following conditions to be eligible for admission to the various undergraduate programs offered by the institute:
- The candidate must be an Indian National.
- The minimum prescribed age limit for the candidates is 16 years as on 31 August 2019.
- The candidate must have passed the 10+2 system or equivalent from any recognized Central/State board with a minimum aggregate score of 50% for those belonging to the General/OBC NCL/UPS Categories and 40% for those belonging to SC/ST/PC Categories.
- Scanned copy of your recent passport size clear color photo with name and date.
- Scanned copy of the candidate’s signature.
- Scanned copy of the candidate’s thumb impression.
- Scanned copy of the candidate’s parent’s /guardian’s signature.
- Digital copy of the candidate’s declaration of the below stated in his/her writing
How to Apply
The application forms will be made available online on the official website tentatively by April 2019. Click on ‘New Registration/Login’ and then on ‘Proceed for Registration’ to access the application form. Select the prospective course and give the requested personal details including your name, gender, category, date of birth, parents’ names, email address and mobile number. Click on ‘Save and Proceed’. Make necessary changes and click on Save and Proceed’ to access your User ID and password. Click ‘Ok’ and fill in your address details and give your preferred choice of examination centers. Click on ‘Save and Proceed’ and then on ‘Add Qualification Details’. Fill in your qualification details and click on ‘Save and Proceed’ to proceed to the next stage of the application process. Upload the necessary documents. Click ‘Save and Proceed’ to proceed to the next stage of the application process. Pay the required application fees as is given in the table below online via Credit /Debit card/Net Banking:
Click ‘Submit’ and take a print-out of the confirmation page for future reference.
The Admit Cards will be made available on the ICAR website as mentioned. Download and take a print-out of the admit card. Self-attest the same with your photograph, signature, and thumb impression.
ICAR AIEEA is a computer-based test spanning 2 and a half hours conducted in various centers across the nation. Question papers are set in English and Hindi. The questions are MCQs with four options out of which you have to mark one. The maximum score is 720. Each of the correct answers will be awarded 4 marks. There will be a penalty of 1 mark for each of the wrongly answered questions. There will be questions from Agriculture, Biology, Chemistry, Mathematics, and Physics with equal weightage out of which you have to choose three depending on the prospective course. Results of ICAR AIEEA 2019 will be declared on the official website by the prescribed date. Merit list will be prepared accordingly. You can access your result using your login credentials. Along with the result, the linkup to download the online counselling schedule will be provided.
