The IBSAT 2018 exam is just around the corner as it is dated on 22 and 23 December 2018. IBSAT is conducted by ICFAI – The governing body. Candidates clearing the IBSAT selection process which consists of the entrance exam, GD and PI, will be eligible for admissions in MBA/PGMA programs. The IBSAT full form is – ICFAI Business School Aptitude Test
There are total 9 IBS campuses around the nation, namely – IBS Gurgaon, IBS Hyderabad, IBS Ahmedabad, IBS Mumbai, IBS Jaipur, IBS Kolkata, IBS Dehradun and IBS Pune.
IBSAT is an entrance exam of two hours with 140 objective type – multiple choice questions. Candidates clearing the IBSAT exam will receive an E-mail on the registered ID and will be called for the further selection process.

IBSAT Registration
The IBSAT registration process started on 1 July 2018 and will continue till 12 December 2018. IBSAT registration form is available in both online and offline mode for the interested applicants. The online registration form can be accessed on the official IBSAT website, whereas, the offline registration form will be available only at IBS marketing branches. The IBSAT registration fee is 1800 for both online mode and offline mode of registration.
IBSAT Slot Booking
All the candidates who have filled the registration form will be eligible for the slot booking process. In this process, candidates have to select the date and time slots to appear for IBSAT 2018 at notified test centres. IBSAT slot booking process will be conducted between 12 – 19 Decemebr and only after the slot booking process is complete, an admit card will be issued to the candidate.
IBSAT Admit Card
IBSAT Admit card will be released as soon as the registration process is complete on 12 December 2018. Admit card for the test serves as ID proof and no candidate will be allowed to enter the exam centre without the Admit Card. Here are the steps to download the Admit Card.
Steps to Download the IBSAT Admit Card
- Visit the IBSAT login for admit card link which will be available once the Admit card releases.
- Enter your login details – Application number followed by the date of birth.
- Submit the details/credentials.
- Download the IBSAT Admit Card
- After download, the IBSAT admit card take two printouts of the same
- Keep the copy of the admit card safe for further process.

The exam is divided into four sections as per the IBSAT exam pattern. The four sections are – Data Interpretation and Data Adequacy, Reading Comprehension, Verbal Ability and Quantitative Techniques. All the sections in the IBSAT exam pattern consist of 30 questions each, except for the verbal ability section of the exam. The verbal ability section of the exam consists of 50 questions, whereas, the other sections consist of 30 questions.

Candidates, please note that this syllabus is not exhaustive, as the exam is objective type, so, there are chances that some question might be out of the prescribed syllabus or above the usual difficulty level.
IBSAT Mock Test
Every year IBSAT releases a mock test paper for the candidates to practice. Practising such mock tests will help the candidates to get a better understanding of the nature of the exam. IBSAT Result
IBS Hyderabad will release IBSAT Results in the first week of January in the online mode only. Candidates will be able to check the result using their credentials like application number and Password.
This year the IBSAT Exam is scheduled on 22 and 23 December 2019. After the result declaration, the participating IBSAT colleges will shortlist the candidates for the selection process which includes Group Discussion (GD) and Personal Interview (PI).
Steps to Check the IBSAT Result
- Candidates can visit the official website of IBSAT where the result link will be activated as soon as the result is released by the authorities.
- Log in on the website using your credentials such as IBSAT Application number and password.
- Then, the list of shortlisted candidates will be displayed on the screen in PDF form.
- Candidates can download the file and they are advised to keep the file safe for further admission process.
IBSAT Cut Off
Each of the IBS colleges releases its own cut off list which states the minimum percentile a candidate needs to achieve to be eligible for the second round of the selection process ( GD and PI). Here is the last year’s cut off for the candidates.
