IBSAT Result – IBSAT 2018

IBS Hyderabad will release IBSAT Results in the first week of January in the online mode only. Candidates will be able to check the result using their credentials like application number and Password.

This year the IBSAT Exam is scheduled on 22 and 23 December 2019. After the result declaration, the participating IBSAT colleges will shortlist the candidates for the selection process which includes Group Discussion (GD) and Personal Interview (PI).

Steps to Check the IBSAT Result

  • Candidates can visit the official website of IBSAT where the result link will be activated as soon as the result is released by the authorities.
  • Log in on the website using your credentials such as IBSAT Application number and password.
  • Then, the list of shortlisted candidates will be displayed on the screen in PDF form.
  • Candidates can download the file and they are advised to keep the file safe for further admission process.

How is IBSAT Result Calculated

  • The IBSAT Entrance Exam is divided into 5 sections  – Analytical Reasoning, Data Interpretation and Data Adequacy, Reading Comprehension, Vocabulary and Quantitative Techniques.
  • According to the IBSAT Marking scheme, there is no negative marking and the candidate is awarded one mark for every correct answer.
  • Candidates are advised to attempt all the questions as there is no negative marking in the IBSAT Exam.

What after IBSAT Result

The selection procedure for the IBSAT 2018 will start after the result has been declared. Candidates will be shortlisted by the participating institutes on the basis of their respective cut off which varies from institute to institute. So, the shortlisted candidates, clearing the cut off will then be called for the further selection process which includes GD and PI.  On the basis of the GD and PI of the shortlisted candidates, they will be sorted out further and then finally the final list will be charted out by the institute.

IBSAT Cut Off

All the 9 participating institutes will release their own individual cut off list to shortlist the candidates for further admission process. The official cut off will only be released after the declaration of results.
