IBPS SO Exam 2018 will be conducted in three phases: Preliminary Exam, Mains Exam, and Interview Process. It is mandatory for every applicant to clear all levels of examination to obtain the post of Specialist Officer in various Public Sector Banks participating in IBPS SO recruitment 2018.
Modifications relative to last year in IBPS Specialist Officer Recruitment are stated below:
- The exam will be conducted in three stages: Preliminary, Mains and Interview Process.
- A candidate must appear for the Prelims first and the selected students after the Preliminary Exam would be eligible to take the Mains Exam.

IBPS SO 2018 Admit Card
The IBPS SO admit card will be released once the application process is complete. Admit card for Preliminary Exam will be released first followed by the admit card for Mains Exam. The admit card for Mains Exam will be issued to candidates who have qualified the preliminary exam.
IBPS SO 2018 Result
The IBPS SO 2018 results will be released after the completion of each phase of the exam. A cumulative score of the preliminary, mains exam and the interview is considered to prepare the final merit list of selected students. The merit list is prepared in the descending order of marks obtained by candidates. Candidates who make it to the merit list will be given the appointment letter by the Bank chosen by the candidate.
