Be the old man for awhile and try to sleep around 11 pm at night. Taking a good night sleep will help you avoid falling asleep during the class. And setting multiple alarms on the interval of 5-10 minutes will help.
Pack your backpack before sleeping
Packing your backpack in the night will save your time. As everything would be in place and on time and this will make your morning easier. You won’t be missing out on your important notes and documents in the morning rush.
Exercise before shower
Believe it or not, the little exercise session won’t just help you to wake up but also help you to avoid those yawning sessions. And doing jumping Jack’s when you roll out of bed will help your body to supply ample amount of oxygen to your brain.

Drink water during class
Drinking coffee is a big ‘NO’ as it might taste yummy and help you to stay awake but the side effects are harmful as it is bad for your teeth, blood sugar level and coffee might increase the level of urination without having to drink water. So, put the coffee mug aside and drink water instead. And take a sip of water every 10 to 20 minutes during the lecture.
Pump up the jam
If all these tips aren’t enough to get you going then it’s a good idea to play the list of your favorite songs on your way towards college. Studies have shown that the music can affect your mood and attitude. Listening to upbeat list itself set a positive tone for rest of your day.
Do your work in the noon
After you’re done with the morning class of 8 to 9. You’re already partially through with the day. So, try to finish your assignment and projects before lunch and you will be able to focus on other things as well. Make a schedule for the day and you will be able to do everything possible and important to be done during the day. Planning makes thing easy.
