1. Schedule/ Timetable
Making a proper schedule for your study is a must. Make a timetable containing three columns, that include day, subject and time. Ensure that you do not take a single subject in a day; take around two to three subjects.
2. Mix and Match
While creating a timetable make sure that you do not put all the easy subjects together or all the difficult subjects together. Make a mix of both. For Example: If you feel biology is easy and mathematics is tough. Then study biology for one hour at first and then proceed with studying mathematics.
3. Evaluation
Take a test yourself after you complete one or two chapters. Evaluation helps in rectifying your own mistakes
4. Know the concept
Do not mug up answers if you do not understand. Do take help from your teacher understand the concept well and study.
5. Make notes
Make a note of points which are important also include the points you find difficult to remember.
6. Solve question papers
Make sure that you solve minimum 10 previous papers or mock question papers before appearing for the final examination. For example: Make an atmosphere of the exam and sit for three hours and solve the paper. Assess the paper yourself thinking you are an examiner. This will help in the betterment of your performance.
7. Relax
Do not sit for hours together and study this leads to stress and also health issues. Take a break of around 15 minutes for every three hours. Get some fresh air by going on a walk or listen to soothing music.
8. Sleep
Provide yourself sufficient sleep. Minimum 7 to 8 hours is recommended. Never stay overnight to study this might affect your health.
9. Exercise and meditation
Do find a little time to exercise and meditate. Meditation strengthens your mind. One month prior to exam do meditate regularly it helps you calm down and generates positive energy in you.
10. Diet
Have a proper nutritional diet. Include foods that are good for the brain such as walnut, almonds. Eat a good breakfast which energizes your day. Avoid junk food in order to keep yourself healthy. Strictly say no eating in unhygienic places.
11. Revision
Revision is a must before you appear for the exam. Ensure that you revise all the topics properly and have a proper understanding of them.
12. Dedication
Give your 100% dedication to your studies and all the subjects. Stay away from electronic gadgets, therefore not getting addicted to them. Also, say no to social networking sites as much as possible.
