There is no tension of ragging or harassment and the campus is quite friendly and affable for students. As far as admission is concerned, a decent mark of 80% and above can help you secure the deal. Fees Structure of Ambedkar University

The endeavour of Ambedkar University is to imbue consciousness among prospective students so that they realise the value of the social privileges they get to cash in on. The heavy subsidy that goes into public institutions of higher education in India is nothing but a boon is a disguise that students often tend to overlook.

For this purpose, a portion of the expenses incurred by the University for its constituent students gets added in the final fee structure. On the basis of this idea, Ambedkar University has fashioned a differential fee structure for different programmes to inform a sense of justice among students from all walks of life. Thus, the fee structure is prepared in such a balanced way that it is easily affordable for all, without making education neither too difficult to access nor too cheap as to erode the sense of responsibility among the privileged students. The fee structure is as follows:

• The differential fee structure ranges from Rs.1250 to Rs.2440 per credit for most courses. Students are also be expected to bear additional expenses for field-visits, supplementary programmes, learning materials etc.

• As per the fee structure of Ambedkar University, In addition to the above expenses, students are required to pay Rs.500 per semester to the Student Welfare Fund.

• Rs.5000 is to be paid as a refundable security deposit.

Refund of Fees

After being admitted, if a student withdraws from the programme, the fees would be refunded in a manner as given below:

• Before the orientation programme Rs.1000 will be deducted.

• After the orientation programme only caution deposit will be refunded.

Fee Wavier

It is the stated policy of the University that no deserving applicant, as far as possible, is denied the opportunity of studying at AUD merely due to her/his inability to pay the fees. To implement this, comprehensive fee-waiver policy is adopted.

• The University generously offers full and partial tuition fee-waivers to students who are financially unstable and are in need of support because of their economic background.

• Students with an annual family income of less than Rs.6 Lakhs will be considered for tuition fee-waiver.

• The University extends full waiver of tuition fees to all students belonging to SC, ST and PwD.

This was the fees structure of Ambedkar University.  Therefore, it is clear that even though Ambedkar University is one of those institutions that believes in delivering no less than first-rate education, it is easily affordable and primarily works to make knowledge accessible to all, without prejudice and considering class angle. Indeed, it’s fee structure and other monetary facilities is an icing on the cake. This makes it one of the most coveted institutions even though it is relatively in it’s nascent stage of development.
