How to prepare for English in IBPS RRB Mains 2018?
Looking at the exam pattern, we find that this section has a relatively lesser weightage (of about 10-20%) than other sections. Nonetheless, candidates are advised to make sure they don’t miss out on the topics which we have discussed below:
Reading Comprehension is examiner’s favorite topic and it could be equally favorite for you if the e-papers provided by the print media is extensively utilized by you at a consistent pace. Speed improvement in terms of reading long passages is the key factor in these type of questions.
In order to be successful in cloze test, one has to be absolutely thorough with grammar ethics including the correct usage of verbs, articles, nouns etc. in a sentence. These will mostly be fill in the blank and paragraph based, for which one can get enough practice through sample papers.
Questions on para-jumbles and error spotting will be very similar to that of cloze test, in that one’s grammatical flexibility will be judged through sets of sentences.
