CMAT Registration Process – CMAT 2019


CMAT Exam is scheduled to be conducted on 28 January 2019. CMAT Registration process is just around the corner, as it will commence from 1 November and CMAT the last date to register is 30 November. CMAT application form comprises of registration, fee payment and filling up the personal details.

Here is the step by step CMAT Registration process

Before filling the CMAT application form candidates must check the eligibility criteria. In short, the eligibility criteria states that the applicants must have completed a 3-year bachelor’s degree from any recognised university with a minimum of 50% for the general category and 45% SC/ST category of applicants.

As per the important dates for the CMAT the exam is scheduled for 28 January 2019. Here are some of the documents that the candidates should keep in handy in order to avoid any last minute hassle.

  •  Valid phone number as the notification of CMAT will be sent through SMS by the authorities
  • A scanned passport size photograph
  • Scanned signature on a white background
  • Debit/Credit Card.
  • Scanned academic qualification certificates.

CMAT Application Process

Step 1 – Instructions and Online CMAT Registration

Click on the ‘ New User’ Icon if you registering for the CMAT exam for the first time. Candidates need to register themselves by filling in the basic credentials. After submitting the page will generate a unique six-digit password. The password would be displayed on the screen and will be sent to the candidates through E-mail and SMS both. So, from now on the candidate becomes an ‘Existing User’ and can log in with their  ID and the unique 6 digit password, whenever required.

Step 2 – CMAT Registration Fee

The next step is to make the necessary payments to complete the application procedure. The CMAT Registration fees can be paid via the following modes:

  • Debit/Credit card
  • Cash deposit in SBI Bank
  • Net Banking

CMAT Application fee structure is as follows

  • The General/OBC category candidates need to pay a fee of Rs. 1400 (+bank charges).
  • The SC/ST category and female candidates will pay Rs. 700 (additional bank charges).
  • If CMAT form fee is being paid at the SBI bank branch then candidates need to get three copies of the challan printed.

Step 3 – Filling CMAT form

In the last step, candidates are required to fill the rest of the CMAT  application form. The required credentials are mentioned below-

  •  Name, Father’s Name and Date of Birth.
  • Details regarding academic qualification such as high school, senior secondary school and graduation completion details.
  • Upload scanned photo and signature of the exact dimensions as mentioned on the website.
  • Accepting the official declaration

After you have filled the application click on the view/modify button to review your application. This step is crucial and candidates should review their application form carefully and look for mistakes. After this, click on the submit button to complete the application form process.

Now, after the registration process has been completed the candidates have to wait for the CMAT Admit Card. The CMAT Admit Card will be made available online only. The admit card will be released on 7 January 2019 and candidates are advised to a couple of print out of the same.
