National Law University Odisha(NLUO), Cuttack the regulatory body for CLAT 2019 entrance exam will determine the CLAT eligibility criteria for the common law entrance test. CLAT eligibility criteria for entrance exam 2019 will specify the minimum age of a candidate, academic qualifications, nationality etc, requirements mandatory for fulfillment by all the aspirants. What is CLAT Entrance Exam 2019?
The admission to the recognized government and private law institute in India is taken through the CLAT entrance exam. The autonomous exam every year records thousands of aspirants taking the entrance exam for undergraduate and postgraduate law studies.

Academic Qualification for LL.B 2019
Class 12/ 10+2 regular study or its equivalent, from a recognized board. The candidates fulfilling below mentioned eligible conditions will be able to give the exam:
- Candidate passed/appearing class 12 exam.
- The applicants should have the necessary aggregate marks in the qualifying exam:
- General/OBC/SAP(Specially Abled Person) Category – a minimum aggregate of 45% marks in the qualifying exam.
- For SC/ST Categories: A candidate should have minimum 40% aggregate in the qualifying exam.
CLAT Age Limit: The candidate should be minimum 17 years of age as on December 31, 2019.
Academic Qualification for LL.B 2019
Candidate should have studied LL.B/ integrated LL.B/ LL.B Hons or its equivalent at the graduation level. The candidates fulfilling these eligible conditions will be able to give the exam:
- Candidate passed or appearing in the final semester are eligible to apply for CLAT 2019.
- The applicants should have the necessary aggregate marks in the qualifying exam:
- General/OBC/SAP Category – a minimum of aggregate 55% marks in the graduating exam.
- For SC/ST category: A candidate should have a minimum of 50% aggregate in the qualifying exam.
CLAT Eligibility Age: The CLAT organizing authorities does not specify any upper age limit for the CLAT 2019 exam.
CLAT Tie Breaking Cases:
For UG
- The candidates scoring higher marks in the particular section on the Legal Aptitude Part of the CLAT 2019 exam.
- A candidate with a comparatively earlier date of birth will rank higher.
- The computerized draw of lots.
For PG
- Age of the candidate: Elder candidate will rank higher.

CLAT is a National level entrance exam taken for pursuing various undergraduate and postgraduate law courses at government and private colleges in India.
