Common Admission Test or more commonly known as the CAT is a national level entrance examination conducted for admissions into more than 100 institutes. Each year almost 2 lakhs candidates appear for the examinations as it is a highly competitive exam. The CAT Exam Centres are located in almost every state of the country for the ease of the candidates.
The CAT Exam Centres for CAT 2018 are expected to be located in 147 cities. On July 29, the governing body, IIM Calcutta announced two more states for the CAT exam centres – Nagaland and Mirozam. At the time of application, candidates need to fill 4 cities as their preferences. The final exam centre will be allotted by IIMs and the same will be mentioned on the Admit Card of CAT 2018 which will be released on 24 October.

At the time of registration, process candidates will have to select the preferred ECAT Exam Centre. Candidates have to select four options from the drop down menu. CAT authorities will alott the exam centre on the basis of candidates preference and availability.
The final exam centre allotted to a candidate will be mentioned in their respective Admit Cards which would be available from 24 October on the official website.

As per the official notification by IIM Calcutta for Common Admission Test in 2018 – 2019, the CAT Exam will be conducted on 25 November 2018. Notification was released on 29 July and CAT aspirants can fill application form till 25 September 2018.
So, these are the CAT exam centres for CAT 2018. Candidates are advised to look up their designated exam centre as soon as they receive the admit card, to arrange for the travel. Also, it is advised that candidates reach the examination centre half an hour prior to the commencement of the examination to avoid any last minute fuss.
