Birla Institute of Technology and Science Pilani- also known as BITS Pilani conducts an all India entrance exam- BITSAT 2019 for the admission into BITS, Pilani, KK Birla Goa Campus, and Hyderabad Campus. What is BITSAT?
BITSAT full form is Birla Institute of Technology and Science Aptitude Test is an all India entrance exam conducted by BITS, Pilani the authoritative body. BITSAT is conducted for providing admissions to the candidates aspiring for BITS, campuses across India. BITSAT is commonly known as BITS entrance exam.

Eligibility for BITSAT EXAM
- Candidates should have passed 10+2 exam from a recognized central or state board or its equivalent with PCM/ PCB subject.
- Candidate should have obtained a minimum aggregate 75% marks in main subjects with least 60% each in Physics, Chemistry, and Mathematics.
- Candidate appearing for 10+2 in 2019 will be eligible.
- Direct admission will be granted to all the state board or central board toppers(2019).
Admission to B.Pharma: Candidates should have passed the 12 class examination of 10+2 system from a recognized Central or State board or its equivalent with Physics, Chemistry, and Biology/Mathematics and have adequate proficiency in English.

Mode & Pattern Of BITSAT 2019
BITSAT 2019 is Online(Computer Based Test) comprising of multiple choice questions. The paper can be taken only in the English language.BITSAT 2019 (CBT) is the only online test for the admission to the integrated/ first-degree programme of BITS, Pilani and campuses.
- The question paper is in English Language only.
- Duration of paper is 3 hours.
- Paper is taken in two slots – 9 am to 12 noon and 2 pm to 5 pm.
The questions are of objective nature (MCQ) and each question carries equal weight of marks.
BITSAT Syllabus
Knowing the syllabus for BITSAT 2019 Exam would help the candidate to prepare.BITSAT exam 2019 syllabus comprises main subjects of study of 11 and 12 class of all Central and State boards. These 150 questions are divided into 4 parts as follow:

BITSAT Application form will release tentatively in the third week of December 2018 and the application deadline- the third week of March 2019(tentative).
Registration
The BITSAT registration is the first step for BITS, Pilani entrance exam. For registration, candidate has to visit the official BITS, Pilani website and register on clicking the “New Registration” button.
Filling of Application Form
There are few steps to fill the application form of BITSAT 2019. The candidate has to make sure to fill the application form according to the prescribed format. Mistake or false information would result in a rejection of BITSAT form.
- Make sure that you are eligible for the BITSAT 2019
- Register for BITSAT 2019 on the official website.
- Fill the application form for BITSAT 2019.
- Upload the scanned signature and photograph in the prescribed format.
- Submit the form.
- Pay the fee and the form is complete.
BITSAT 2019 Slot Booking
The BITSAT 2019 conducting body BITS Pilani would be releasing the BITSAT Slot Booking date tentatively in the fourth week of March 2019. Slot Booking process requires the candidate to choose the slot on basis of the preferred date, exam center, and exam slot.
- The Slot booking starts – The Fourth week of March 2019
- End of Slot Booking date- Second week of April 2019
- After slot booking the BITSAT 2019 conducting body would release the admit card.
BITSAT 2019 Admit Card
BITSAT 2019 Admit card would be available for download from the second week of April 2019. Here are some important steps for downloading the admit card of BITS 2019:
- Candidate should download the admit card from official website of BITS.
- Click on the downloading link of BITSAT 2019 admit card.
- To log in, the candidate has to enter the unique application number provided at the time of filling the BITSAT 2019 application form, gender, date of birth and email ID.
- After login, the candidate should check all the details
- Review the admit card and download.
BITSAT Result 2019
BITS, Pilani will be releasing the BITSAT 2019 result tentatively in the fourth week of May 2019. BITSAT result is declared in the form of the total number of correct, total number of incorrect answers, with the total score obtained in the entrance test BITSAT 2019. A candidate would be able to check the detailed score report after BITSAT result day just by log-in to their account of BITSAT 2019 using credentials like the unique application number and password. The counseling process will start soon, and the admit list would be declared with the first cutoff marks. The admit list and waitlist would carry the name of the candidates who will appear for BITSAT seat allotment. The wait list of BITSAT 2019 will carry the name of candidates whose admission would be on hold or have chances of getting the seat in the next round. BITSAT 2019 Cutoff marks
BITS, Pilani will be releasing the BITSAT 2019 cutoff tentatively in the fourth week of May 2019. The cutoff scores are declared keeping in mind the determinants like the total number of students appeared in the BITSAT 2019, the exam difficulty level and maximum score scored by maximum students. etc. The candidate who scores the marks in the range of the first cutoff will get the admission in the first cutoff other candidates are in the waiting list. Though, waitlist candidate does have the high probability of getting admission in the second or third cut off.

Important Instructions for Counseling & Admission BITSAT
The process of BITSAT counseling starts from the fourth week of May 2019 and end with admission completion the second week of August 2019. The registration for counseling is mandatory for the candidates. The cutoff would be available in the fourth week of May 2019. Eligible candidates qualifying BITSAT 2019 is required to fill the application form of counseling/seat allotment process. The form will be available tentatively from the fourth week of May 2019.
The candidates will be allotted seats in the participating institutes. The seat allotment is done according to the preference selected, performance in the examination, and availability of seats.
BITS Admission Process & Counselling 2019
Direct admissions will be provided to the candidates who are board toppers of recognized Central and State Boards and its equivalent of the year 2019.
It is mandatory for the candidate to report to the campus after seat allotment. The first-semester fee should be paid for admission confirmation. The failure of the same would result in the cancellation of the admission and seat allotted.
