Banaras Hindu University is a pioneer institute for medical sciences (BHU MBBS) The university rank among the top-rated universities in India and abroad. The NEET Medical entrance exam is the gateway to BHU medical courses.
BHU offers several courses at undergraduate, postgraduate and research level. Admission is done on the basis of marks obtained in Undergraduate Entrance Test (UET) for UG courses, NEET Medical Entrance Test for MBBS and BDS courses, Postgraduate Entrance Test (PET) for PG courses, Research Entrance Test (RET) for Ph.D. and M.Phil Entrance Test for M.Phil.
The NTA will conduct NEET entrance exam 2019 on 5 May 2019. The application form for BHU MBBS 2019 admissions will be available for registration in the first week of July (online mode). Candidate should understand the eligibility criteria for filling the application form. Candidates who qualify in NEET MBBS 2019 entrance exam will be eligible for admission in the BHU MBBS.

Mode of Exam
For MBBS in BHU student have to undertake NEET 2019 entrance exam.
- NEET entrance will be an offline test for the admission to the undergraduate degrees MBBS/BDS at IMS, BHU.
- The exam will be for 3 hours.
- It will comprise questions from Physics, Chemistry and Biology subjects. There will be 180 questions of 720 marks in total.
BHU MBBS Eligibility Criteria 2019
The candidate should be an Indian National to be eligible for taking MBBS entrance 2019. The other eligibility details are given:

The above-mentioned maximum age limit is subject to change. As per the latest notification about NEET 2019 exam the Supreme Court has asked NEET authorities to accept the applications from candidates above 25 years of age. The final decision will be of CBSE and will be coming out soon. BHU accepting MBBS/BDS admissions on the basis of NEET will follow the same age requirement criteria.
MBBS at BHU- Admissions and Exam Pattern 2019
The BHU MBBS admissions will be conducted on the basis of NEET 2019 scores. The NEET is a medical entrance test organized by National Testing Agency, NATA. The paper pattern will have questions from the three subjects namely Physics, Chemistry, and Biology. Biology is the master with its branches i.e Botany and Zoology putting up together 90 questions each carrying +4 marks for correct answer and -1 for an incorrect answer. The other two subjects Physics & Chemistry each will comprise 45 questions carrying equal weightage of marks. The total questions will be 180 and the total marks will be 720.

- It is an entrance exam taken for pursuing MBBS/BDS course at BHU.
- Duration of paper is 3 hours.
- The Mode of Exam: offline.
- The questions are of an objective nature (MCQ).
- The incorrect answer leads to -1 mark.

BHU MBBS Entrance 2019 Syllabus
The syllabus of BHU MBBS entrance test will be the same as that of the HSC level examination. NEET entrance 2019 exam syllabus comprises Physics, Chemistry, and Biology of the NCERT curriculum of class 11 and 12. Aspirants should check the detailed syllabus and know information about the important topics for preparing well for the examination.
BHU MBBS Admit Card
The admit card for MBBS entrance 2019 will release on 15 April 2019 on the official portal. The admit card will be sent to registered email ID or candidate himself/herself can download from the official portal. It would carry details like the name of the candidate, photograph, signature and exam venue with the date. The admit card should be downloaded and a print out has to be taken for sitting in the BHU MBBS exam.
BHU MBBS 2019 Exam Centres
The exam centre for BHU 2019 would be made available for a candidate once the application form is out. The 2019 NEET exam centres are 154 in number for NEET 2019 entrance exam. The candidate will be allowed to select three centres for BHU exam according to their preference while filling up the application form. The first preference would be given priority.
BHU MBBS 2019 Result
NTA will declare the NEET results on June 5, 2019. NEET 2019 result will be available on the official website of NTA which can be viewed and downloaded by the candidates by logging in with their login username/application number and password. The students qualifying NEET 2019 will be eligible for BHU admissions. The candidate will have to fill the BHU MBBS admissions form after NEET results.
Application Form BHU MBBS 2019
The form for BHU MBBS admissions will be available at the BHU official admission website. The candidate will have to register and fill up the application form for the admission process.
The application process will begin after the release of the official notification.
- Registration: The candidate has to register on the official BHU website by entering valid email id, NEET roll number, Candidates name, date of birth, and mobile number etc.
- Filling up of Application Form: The form will be available for counseling after NEET results. The form should be filled carefully with all correct information.
- Uploading Documents: Successfully filling up the application form, a candidate would be required to attach the documents like NEET rank letter and scorecard.
- Submit the form: The form has to be submitted for application completion.
- Payment of Fee: The application has to be paid using online or offline mode. The confirmation page has to be printed for future references.
BHU MBBS/BDS Counseling and Admission Process
The basic eligibility for NEET accepting scores is similar across all the participating institutes in India. The candidate satisfying all the eligibility requirements of NEET and other particular eligibility criteria if set by a particular institute is given admission after the authorities confirm the same.
- After NTA will release the NEET entrance 2019 score, the online application for counseling starts the second week of June 2019.
- The candidate has to submit their 10, 12 class mark sheets and their preference of the NEET score accepting institutes along with the chosen branch of study.
- The NEET scores, eligibility of the candidate, and the availability of seats the aspirant will be allotted a seat.
- One has to reserve the seat by paying the first-semester fee.
Cutoff Marks BHU MBBS 2019
The cutoff or the minimum marks are the marks a candidate achieve for qualification in the entrance test. The candidates who meet the cutoff requirement of NEET 2019 will be eligible to attend the counseling for admissions.

BHU MBBS/BDS Merit 2019
The merit list includes candidates allotted seats in Central Universities, Deemed Universities and through All India Quota counseling. BHU MBBS 2019 merit list will consist of candidates’ NEET roll no. and NEET rank. The candidates in the merit list of BHU MBBS 2019 will have to report at the allotted college. The university will not inform candidates individually about the BHU 2019 MBBS merit list.
