The Aligarh Muslim University offers the prestigious AMU MBBS for admissions to the undergraduate course at JNMC, Aligarh Muslim University. Aligarh Muslim University offers courses in Bachelor of Medicine, Bachelor of Surgery (MBBS) and Bachelor of dental surgery (BDS).

Candidates aspiring to apply for admission to MBBS and BDS courses, have to qualify NEET. If a candidate does not qualify NEET UG, he/she will not be eligible to fill AMU MBBS BDS 2019 application form under any circumstance.

The NTA will conduct NEET entrance exam 2019 tentatively in between last week of April to the first week of June 2019. The application form for AMU MBBS 2019 will be available for registration in the first week of January (online mode). Candidate should go through the eligibility criteria before filling the form. Candidates who qualify in AMU MBBS 2019 entrance exam will be eligible for admission in the JNMC, AMU.

AMU MBBS Exam Pattern 2019

The official notice suggests the exam pattern will remain the same as the previous year for NEET 2019. The NEET exam 2019 will have the three main subjects namely Physics, Chemistry, and Biology. Biology is the master with its branches i.e Botany and Zoology putting up together 90 questions each carrying +4 marks for correct answer and -1 for an incorrect answer. The other two subjects Physics & Chemistry each will comprise 45 questions carrying equal weightage of marks. The total questions will be 180 and the total marks will be 720.

  • It is an entrance exam taken for pursuing MBBS/BDS course at AMU.
  • Duration of paper is 3  hours.
  • The Mode of Exam: offline.
  • The questions are of an objective nature (MCQ).
  • The incorrect answer leads to -1 mark.

AMU MBBS Entrance 2019 Syllabus

The syllabus of AMU MBBS entrance 2019 will be the same as that of the HSC level examination. AMU entrance 2019 exam syllabus comprises Physics, Chemistry, and Biology of the NCERT curriculum of class 11 and 12. Aspirants should check the detailed syllabus and know information about the important topics for preparing well for the examination.

Application Form AMU MBBS 2019

The online form for AMU MBBS entrance exam will be available on the official website of Aligarh Muslim University.

The application process will begin after release of the official notification.

  1. Registration: The candidate has to register on the official AMU website by entering valid email id, NEET roll number, Candidates name, date of birth, and mobile number etc.
  2. Filling up of Application Form: The candidate first has to login using their username & password. The form should be filled carefully with all correct information.
  3. Uploading Documents: Successfully filling up the application form, a candidate would be required to upload the scanned photograph, signature, and category certificate(if applicable).
  4. Submit the form: The form has to be submitted for application completion, on submission the unique 7 digit application number has to be noted down for future reference.
  5. Payment of Fee: The application has to be paid using online or offline mode. The confirmation page has to be printed for future references.
  6. The form has to be sent to the address, “Admission Section, Office of the Controller of Examinations, AMU, Aligarh- 202002”

AMU MBBS Admit Card

The admit card for MBBS entrance 2019 will release on 15 April 2019 on the official portal. The admit card will be sent to registered email ID or candidate himself/herself can download from the official portal. It would carry details like the name of the candidate, photograph, signature and exam venue with the date. The admit card should be downloaded and a print out has to be taken for sitting in the AMU MBBS exam.

AMU MBBS 2019 Exam Centres

The exam centre for AMU 2019 would be made available for a candidate once the application form is out. The 2018 NEET exam centres were 136 in number including one international (Dubai) centre. The candidate will be allowed to select three centres for AMU exam according to their preference while filling up the application form. The first preference would be given priority. The prominent cities where AMU MBBS 2019 Exam will take place includes Bareilly, Allahabad, Kozhikode, Lucknow, Bhopal, Kolkata, Srinagar, Hyderabad, Meerut, and Aligarh.

AMU MBBS 2019 Result

NTA will declare the NEET results on June 5, 2019. NEET 2019 result will be available on the official website of NTA which can be viewed and downloaded by the candidates by logging in with their login username/application number and password. The students qualifying NEET 2019 will be eligible for AMU admissions.

Cutoff Marks AMU MBBS 2019

The cutoff or the minimum marks are the marks a candidate achieve for qualification in the entrance test. The candidates who meet the cutoff requirement of NEET 2019 will be eligible to attend the counseling for admissions.

AMU MBBS/BDS Counseling and Admission Process

The basic eligibility for NEEt accepting scores is similar across all the participating institutes in India. The candidate satisfying all the eligibility requirements of NEET and other particular eligibility criteria if set by a particular institute is given admission after the authorities confirm the same.

  • After NTA will release the NEET entrance 2019 score, the online application for counseling starts the second week of June 2019.
  • The candidate has to submit their 10, 12 class mark sheets and their preference of the NEET score accepting institutes along with the chosen branch of study.
  • Taking into account candidates NEET scores, eligibility of the candidate the availability of seats and the branch preference one is either allotted a seat or kept on the waiting list.
  • One has to reserve the seat by paying the first-semester fee.

AMU MBBS/BDS Merit 2019

The merit list includes candidates allotted seats in Central Universities, Deemed Universities and through All India Quota counseling. AMU MBBS 2019 merit list will consist of candidates’ NEET roll no. and NEET rank. The candidates in the merit list of AMU MBBS 2019  will have to report at the allotted college. The candidates will not be informed about AMU MBBS merit list 2019 individually.

Guidelines For AMU MBBS 2019 Admissions

  • Candidate should go through the eligibility criteria before filling up the application form.
