0

Amity University is one of the topmost private universities of India. It has many branches not only in India but all over the world. Amity provides great opportunities for students aiming for graduation or Post graduation.

The best thing about Amity is that they have made foreign language compulsory for each and every student. Probably this is the reason why an Amitian stands apart in the crowd. Amity University helps in the overall development of a student. It provides a student with freedom and allows him/her to express himself/herself.

After doing graduation from Amity, a student sees the world in a different light. He/she is confident and fearless. They are willing to take the different challenges put up in front of them by the “Real world”. I have never seen any other university influencing student’s life as Amity does. Amity offers a vast number of courses in various fields at undergraduate and post-graduation levels:

Engineering, Fashion, Social Science, Psychology, Economics, Foreign Language, Architecture, Computer Science, Animation, Commerce, Design, Film and Arts, Food Technology etc.

Placements at Amity University

Amity University has a great placement record. Companies from different parts of India come to Amity. Most of the company wants students of Amity and the question is why won’t they. Every amitian knows a foreign language and has an added advantage over the students from the other universities. Every company will obviously want an employee who knows more than one language because it will be beneficial for their company and they can easily expand their network. Many big companies have visited Amity for placements such as: Microsoft, Amazon, Zycus, HCL, TCS and many more. For placements, a student should maintain a good CGPA around 7-7.5.

Fee Structure

The fee structure varies from department to department at Amity University. For example, if you want to do B.A.(H) in a foreign language, the fee per semester is around Rs. 28,500 which in my opinion is not very high. In B.Tech (Mechanical Engineering) and B.Arch the fee per semester is around Rs. 1.30 lacs while in law the fee is little higher around 1.40 (lacs). The fee is still less when compared to other private universities.

Topics are explained at least two or three times. Faculties provides the notes in advance so that students doesn’t face any difficulties. Online reading material is also provided.
