Women Development Cell
The college has a Women Development cell that caters to the needs of women. The cell conducts regular workshops and discussions to create awareness amongst the public regarding the problems faced by women and also focuses on the issues of women empowerment and other sensitive topics pertaining to women safety and development.
Swaranjali is regarded as one of the best music societies among the colleges of Delhi University. The society has won many accolades with their performances at IIT Bombay, IIT Delhi, BITS Pilani, AIIMS and lady Shri ram college, and continues to win the hearts of public with each passing year.
Western Dance Society
Oorja, the Western Dance Society at Hansraj, is quite popular across the colleges of DU. The society members have a proficiency in Hip Hop, Bollywood, Semi classical, Jazz or Krumping, just name it! Also, the members received immense adulation from the public, for their inclusion of different genres of music, namely the Chhao and dubstep in their dance sequences.

Sanskritiki aims to educate people about Indian culture, ethics, values, and traditions. The society also conducts discussions which are focused on the mythological tales from Ramayana, Mahabharata to Gita and Vedas.
